In this section answer the questions in deep thought. Feel free to meditate on these questions. Or if you are not into mediation then try pondering these questions as you fall asleep, go for a walk or even while in the shower. It is usually when we are not trying to find an answer that the answers will come.

This is not graded in any way, this is just for you to know your why.

So ask within:

1.What is my why on completing this course? Why do I want to become a Massage Therapist?

2.Who am I after this course? Do I see myself as a business owner or working a Massage Therapist working within another business? Where can you see yourself using your new skills and talent?

3.How many hours & what days, do you plan to self study and practice after?

4.If planning to use as a side hustle. How much would you like to make?

5.How many hours ? eg: ($500pw % $80ph = 6.25 hours pw) To earn $500 per week is only 6.25 clients per week. This is before tax and expenses. You will also need to gain confidence within yourself to go and advertise on some type of platform.

6.Do I plan to advertise on Facebook or Instagram or Websites

7.Who are my ideal clients? Who do I plan to Massage and provide my services too?

For example; Do I plan to Massage stay at home parents or business professionals?

You do need to work out who you plan to provide your services to and where and when you will advertise to them.

For example you wouldn't advertise too business owners during hours when they are working. You would advertise to them after work or lunch break times.

Or if advertising to parents then you wouldn't advertise to them in hours when they are busy cooking dinner for their children.

Energetically we usually work with people similar to ourselves.

So imagine who you are going to advertise too. Question yourself when are they more likely to go onto Facebook, or Google Search. I do recommend to YouTube or Google tips for marketing as there is so much that go's into it. Learning Massage is actually the easy part. Its the after part of the journey of self growth that we go through on our next steps. Yes the marketing part is very challenging but stick to it. You will learn so much about yourself during these times.

I recommend for you to write down and ponder on these. Also out of your interest google other peoples massage prices. Obviously don't copy other businesses in your area. It is a big no no to copy other businesses.

I'm Perth based so I used to look at other businesses in Sydney area for inspiration.

Also never call another Massage business to ask what their prices are. Yes we can tell from the tone in you voice at what you are up too lol.

Or go on to YouTube. Never copy. You can get yourself in so much trouble.

So take inspiration and have fun creating your own business. That is of course if you plan to go down that road. So many who do the course do so, so they are able to start their Massage Career in a Massage Clinic. Yes you can gain employment using this certificate.

When you apply for a new Massage position you will usually be asked to demonstrate your Massage Skills. So make sure that you have practiced and practiced and practiced some more. You do NOT need to be an absolute professional. A Massage Business Owner will be able to feel in your technique and touch that you do have potential. Then if they see potential they will happily take you on and train you up themselves in their business. I know this from experience because this is how I got my first Massage Job and it is also what I now do in my massage businesses.
